Get Involved

If you would like to be involved with the club or help in any way please do contact us. We need help in many areas including assisting on club evenings, fund raising or just general management of the club. If you wish to gain youth work qualifications, we are able to provide guidance and free training in youth work.

We need help on club evenings, assistance with fund raising and are looking for someone to update and maintain this website, and keep our social media profile active.

We want your volunteering experience with Dorchester Youth & Community Centre to be successful. In order to do this we will want you to be volunteering in the most appropriate place, doing a role you enjoy doing.

In order to do this it will be necessary to take up references, and we may need to complete a Disclosure and Barring check depending on the role.

Dorchester youth & Community Centre is committed to equal opportunities.

The Trust is a charity and we have to raise all the funds to operate the centre.

If you wish to donate, please contact us by email or telephone.

If you can support Dorchester Youth & Community Centre, you can be assured that your donation will be used to support young people.

Leave a Legacy

By leaving a gift in your will to Dorchester Youth & Community Centre, you can leave a lasting legacy which will help improve the quality of life for children and young people in Dorchester – a legacy that will help transform lives.

We would be very grateful for this support – which will help so many children, young people and their families. A gift in your will, allows us to continue the work we are doing and support more children, young people and their families in the future.

We believe every adult should have a properly prepared will. You might be surprised to know that a will is the only way you can ensure your wishes are carried out after you pass away. It’s also a chance to leave a gift to both the people, and causes, that are close to your heart. If you are considering making a will we would recommend that you contact a professional will writer, such as a solicitor. They will be able to ensure that it is legally correct and that your wishes are fulfilled.

If you would like to make a gift in your will, please provide our name ‘Dorchester Youth & Community Centre’ and our address ‘Dorchester Youth & Community Centre, Kings Road, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1NJ, as well as our registered charity number ‘1168701’, in order to pledge a gift to us.

Please get in touch with us if you have any queries, would like to visit us or to wish to talk through your plans. Please fill in one of our forms on our contact us page, and we will be in touch very shortly.
