About Us
How We Got Started
Following the withdrawal of financial support by DCC in August 2016, a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) was established to continue to run the centre and provide a safe meeting place for young people as well as a facility available fro the general community. We currently have nine trustees who with 3 additional members form the management committee. The centre is financially support by Dorchester Town Council and must raise the balance of running costs form grants and donations.
Our Mission
To provide children and young people with a safe space to access youth sessions which are inclusive, supportive, informal, educational and enhance the overall well being of young people in the community.
To facilitate and encourage local community groups to make full use of the centre.
